Feeling green?

So i had an hr lunch at work today, so i drove around and spotted a Beauty & Nail Supply store....I couldn't pass it up! So i picked up two bottles of O.P.I "Don't Mess With Opi" (dark green) and "Stranger Tides" (light)

I wasn't really a fan of the taupey-greeney-gray i suppose it different and unique but i prefer brightness. So if i ever get into swapping it'll be the first to go lol. The dark green i love, i'll wear this for one day than do a different designed center around "Don't Mess With Opi".

What do you think of the taupey green?

Do you believe in magic?

So with approximately 57 mins remaining in Neverland Nail Blog "Do you believe in Magic?" contest, i present to you my lovely Pegasus.

I sponged on the sky and the grass, the wings and face were all done with a brush, and the eyes are diamonds :)

These photos were my inspiration for this mythical creature.

First tape mani.

My first tape mani!, and i believe i did a pretty damn good job. Took me about a minute to cut 10 triangles (half a square lol) slapped em on my fingers and polished away. I'm defiantly going to be trying more of them out. Polishes used were Color Club "Campfire Red" and "Honey Bee" as the base..China Glaze "Fairy Dust" than topped off with Seche Vite.

Chunk Taylor's mani

So i was browsing nail art and came across this nail tut for cute little converse shoes and i decided to try it out. So here's my attempted, i did pretty good on my right hand (because i'm left handed) but my left hand was weird looking. Not so easy to do the shoe tip on my left hand so i only wore it long enough to take these pictures and acetone way!

RED!

I never wear red polish it just always seem so cliche, so today i decided to be cliche. I am absolutely in love with this Color Club "Campfire Red". Without an top coat at all the color was bright and shiny. It was on $1.65 at my beauty supply, this color is defiantly making me love reds now.

I added "Ruby Pumps" on top it made them shiner but i was expecting more glitter. I guess the reds were to similar so you can barley see the difference. But i love this color i'm going to search for a bigger bottle next time. It was just 49 cents and it was so cute so i had to buy it.

Haul'n

So i just got of work and was only going to Sally's to get a bottle of "Seche Vite" which alll my fav bloggers talk about and a nail file. But they had a sale on China Glaze buy 2 get one free, so i bought 3 of them a tiny bottle of "Ruby Pumps" its was 49 cents. I drove off and forgot my file because i was obviously distracted by the sale. So i went by a beauty supply store and they had a sale on "Color Club" so i bought two bottles, my file and an additional bottle of China Glaze "Unplugged".

First try at gradient.

So my attempt at gradient nails, i think i did a pretty good job. I made alottt of mess on my finger with the sponge though but my acetone manage to get it cleaned up quickly :)

COLORBLOCK!

Inspired by this new skirt that i bought from Love Culture last week, i plan on wearing it this weekend so why not have matching colorblock nail?

These are all the polishes i used, the black one which looks nameless is by Jupiter. It was only a dollar and you can get it from any beauty supply store. China Glaze: "Towel Boy Toy", "In The Lime Light", an Fairy Dust; Sinful Colors: "Courtney Orange"; Kleancolor: "White" and Somaiya: nameless so lets call it "Purple" lol.

I did three layers of each color to get the brightness out of them.
It looks good without the glitter but i just love glitter!!!
